There are moments in life that revolutionize how you think of things.
In 2020, the revolutionary topic that changed the world is known as the Covid-19 AKA coronavirus. Media attention, everyday conversation, and daily behavior was rattled by the emergence of such a powerful agent no one saw coming. This disease has redefined life in the quick lifespan its already had and seems to continue to move towards.
When things like this happen, what does it make you think of? What does it change in your life?
When my mom died, everything changed for me. Three years ago, I wrestled with "What's important to me" a lot. I guess by accident, that proved to be a precursory practice leading into this crazy time period. And what is important to me, hasn't changed. I'm grateful to spend time with loved ones in my life, speak to them, and try and help them whenever possible. Although things change when these "events" happen, the steadfastness towards what really matters should always remain. For me, more than ever, I have an abundance of gratitude for the amazing loved ones in my life, and pray to grow closer to them daily; particularly one special love who garners most of my smiles these days. For her, I'm tremendously fortunate.
