Feed the Memories

I had a conversation last night that imbued me with an important nugget of information. Feed the positive memories you have of loved ones now gone.

I haven't done that enough lately.

Many say how our bodies don't know the difference between thoughts and whether or not they are real or not. In other words, what we think can have the power to bring us up, make us happy, bring us down, or make us sad. When we perceive danger or fears or certain "downers", even when they aren't real; they affect us. Similarly, the good things can have the opposite affect.

As such, its paramount for me to celebrate the memories, the cherished memories of my loving mom, by continuing to relish them and feed those snippets of gold in which she loved me and guided me and helped me and supported me. As a result, she lives on in me.
