Having Vision

Sight is different than vision.

Seeing something requires only to capture what is already in front of you. Seeing something that is far away is possible with binoculars or even a telescope. Sight is an incredibly wonderful sense that many of us are blessed to have, but vision is something quite different and arguably more powerful.

Vision is seeing something that isn't present. Pursue what isn't there. The bravery and courage to actually fight for something that isn't yet present is quite a magical way to live. Conceiving of the goal or destination or task from out of nothing is really amazing, but to then make it or achieve it is truly awesome.

We have the capacity to see things before they arrive in such ordinary and yet equally exquisite as well.

Do you have a vision of a new business, a loving partner, a painting, or song, or a trip, or dish you've yet to explore? Is your vision grand or grandiose? Do you exercise your vision by fantasizing or goal setting?

Work on your vision more so than your sight. One is in constant need of stimulus whereas the other does just fine already.
