Finding "The One"

Have I found the one?

It's a question many will ask over the course of a lifetime. But do you ever really stop searching for the one?

Shouldn't love and its pursuit call us to continue exploration and adventure in love with the person we partner with. Only the constant investment of time and energy spawned from the desire and actions to love someone truly suffice. Communication, affections (verbal or physical), as well as demonstrating our love for someone and spending time with someone, together with giving small gestures, etc. can transmit how much someone means to us. Asking ourselves if we've found "the one" assumes the search ends at certain point.

Exploring the infinite possibilities that someone's life (in ours) presents to us, merits truly engaging always in: growth, adventure, learning, differing, conflicts, adversity, etc. This serves as the best parallel alignment to the universe's constant of change. In essence, the best laid plan should be keeping your partnership "the one" a person you can't live without and thereby satisfies you day by day. Court each other everyday. Ask questions of each other everyday. Challenge each other every day. Be positive and helpful to each other every day. Shouldn't finding reasons that "the one" is "your one" be the approach that works best?
