No one determines someone else's self worth. Moreover, the concept itself is sort of misleading.
What is self worth?
You won THE RACE. Literally, you beat out millions of little racer on a one way trip to the finish line which ultimately lead to you being here (on earth with life). That means you're already significant. You already matter. You matter because you are matter, you are here; present and alive. So what does it mean to have self-worth?
It's just asinine to consider, really. You're distinctly unique. There are no two people alike in this planet. You already contribute that to existence. Things you do cause a ripple in the world given what you do affects others around you and even those that you can't see and touch. We have a finite amount of geographic space and increasingly, we are interconnected in this world. As such, everything you do is significant. As a result, you are important. Your worth is that you have a self. Measuring yourself against someone else is as fruitless as comparing a banana to a grape.
You're already worthy. You matter. Question really is, do you see it? Do you know you matter?
