When one goes without a mate (a lover and best friend); perhaps the ways in which we long or desire and hope to have someone take “a form” or begin to reflect how that emptiness or lack might one day be filled is beautiful.

In so doing, it’s a lovely way of connecting the partner we will one day have for ourselves in a very real way to the present, despite his/her being absent.

“Emptiness in Form” as a way to see the lack of a loving partner in our lives.
