Adversity

There's lots of advice on how best to tackle adversity. None of which really can touch the person encountering it in the poignant way he or she needs to.

Everyone's journey is different, so too each's adversity.

Perhaps the universal resource to know is impermanence is constant. Nothing is forever. If you really think about it, even adversity is temporary. A bad grade, an interview gone wrong, a missed chance in sports, or a rejection from someone you like that didn't like you back; it's temporary.

As hard as it may be sometimes, remembering that may help further you along by reducing down the adversity to simply a short window of time you have to get through or close. Then, as always, something new and different comes.
