If you, what is Love?

Sometimes I find myself in familiar conversation with a friend or friends that discuss matters of the heart. Admittedly, it's a comfortable subject for me to discuss and i try my best to share what I've learned from more studied and individuals more gifted than I.

Have you ever wondered if you know what love is?

I've read various works and have personal experience that have informed my own opinion of “what love is”, but surely its different for everyone.

No one knows the life experience of another person, given all the uniquenesses of that journey. How could the yield of that experience possibly be wholly understood by another? Is that love? The embracing of another life, not of one's own experience, and its acceptance of existing independent of our own.

I don’t pretend to know the answer, but it’s a worthwhile question to ask. I’ll be sure to do more asking, of everything.
