Music to my Ears

I was never a HUGE music person. I can still remember back in high school asking friends to help me identify titles for my first "mix-tape". Back then CDs were a big deal. It was before the all digital world we now know.

Anyway, I've only started to delve into music later in life. Specifically, the last few years I've had a significant up tic in music consumption, concerts, and knowledge. Specifically, these days I'm listening to a lot of music that tells stories.

I never fancied myself a country music fan but I've really enjoyed many different artists and learning more and more about it. Concerts are such a great time, regardless of genre. Whether its a cold drink in one hand and a snack to eat in the other it's all enjoyable.

I'm very grateful for these recent discoveries and look forward to delving into them more in the coming years, even if just occasional.
